Allosaure 1The Allosaurus is a large carnivorous dinosaur that lived in North America approximately 155 million years ago, during the Late Jurassic period. Measuring up to 12 meters, it was one of the dominant predators of its time. Interesting fact: it possessed powerful jaws and sharp teeth capable of slicing through the flesh of prey much larger than itself.
